Submitting a Missed Punch Log Ticket

When an employee misses a punch, the NEXT DAY HR will send out a notice in the morning(Monday-Friday only) via an HR Task in KP. The HR Task will just have a link to the missed punch log form (https://bit.ly/HavenMissedPunch) that needs to be filled out. 


If the GM wants an employee to complete a missed punch (like the same day), the employee can go to the same link above.


Step 1: The employee is responsible for submitting the ticket.


Step 2: The GM is responsible for investigating and approving (via simple reply in the ticketing system) the missed punch times.


Step 3: HR would be responsible for fixing the missed punch on KayaPush(KP) system, uploading the proof (printing out the closed ticket, as evidence) to the employee's file in KayaPush and then closing the ticket.

  • This also gives the manager the ability for the manager and employee to see the history of MPLs easily by looking into the employee’s upload files in KP for performance management
  • IF the GM NEEDS TO fix the missed punch in KP (due to time constraints, or otherwise, that is fine, just note in the ticket that you “APPROVED and Updated KP”)

HR will still verify it was done correctly as per what was submitted, and will still be responsible for uploading proof and closing out the ticket


Step 4: The employee will be notified via the ticketing system that the missed punch has been fixed in the system, the ticket is now resolved, and it is their responsibility to verify that in their “Push Employee app->Hours Worked” shows the missed punch has been updated correctly, and if not then they must re-open the ticket.


Step 5: The GM will still be responsible for approving the hours (like during the end of the pay period)
